Project overview
In 2023 as a part of my case study for SHERPA Experience Design Studio, I was asked to prepare a Heuristic UX Writing analysis of a global app. For this task, I chose to analyze Uber, as it is used in Türkiye and is a major brand internationally.
Challenges and constraints
I believe the most difficult part of this task was deciding on the heuristics that I would base my analysis on, as most of the Usability Heuristics seemed to focus on User Interface Design.
Combining Jakob Nielsen's widely acclaimed 10 Usability Heuristics for UI Design and Bobbie Wood's UX Writing Heuristics, I managed to complete my analysis.
Another challenge was the lack of official documentation of the Uber brand. Working without a published Voice & Tone document could have been misleading, so I had to work on my analysis without entering much into the Voice & Tone aspect of Uber.
